Does Alpha Lion fat burner work? Label doses vs the trials

Does Alpha Lion fat burner work? SuperHuman Burn's 500 mg MitoBurn and 40 mg CaloriBurn were trialled for 56 days: no significant fat-mass gap vs placebo.

Does Alpha Lion fat burner work? Label doses vs the trials

Does Alpha Lion fat burner work? Not on the evidence read here. A 56-day trial of the exact fat-burn doses SuperHuman Burn prints, 500 mg MitoBurn alone or with 40 mg CaloriBurn, found no significant change in body mass, fat mass or resting metabolic rate versus placebo. Hunger ratings fell. The trial did not test the product.

This desk read Alpha Lion’s SuperHuman Burn page, its BURN2O page, the trial abstract (Nutrition Journal, 10 June 2026), two grains-of-paradise abstracts and the FDA’s caffeine page on 23 October 2026.

What did the MitoBurn and CaloriBurn trial find?

Overweight and obese adults at Lindenwood University dieted and exercised for 56 days. The abstract names MitoBurn and CaloriBurn from NNB Nutrition, which sponsored the study; its senior author is a paid scientific advisor to NNB. With 12 or 13 people an arm, “no significant difference” is not proof of no effect.

The grains-of-paradise trials are older, smaller and do not name Alpha Lion’s ingredient. Neither abstract reports body weight.

How much caffeine is in SuperHuman Burn?

304 mg a scoop, in three timed sources, per the label. The FDA cites 400 mg a day as an amount not generally associated with negative effects for most adults, with wide individual variation. That is general guidance, not a limit set for this product. See also our caffeine trials in milligrams.

Does BURN2O work?

BURN2O names MitoBurn, CaloriBurn, L-carnitine and GBB, but the page text read here printed no per-serving amount for any of them. For the category, see our 21-study fat burner review and thermogenic ingredients against the NIH.

Questions readers ask

How long until I see results?

The longest test of these doses this desk read ran 56 days. After eight weeks of diet, exercise and supplement, body mass and fat mass did not differ significantly from placebo. The page text read here gives no timeline, and this desk will not invent one.

Why do I feel warm and sweat more when I take it?

Alpha Lion’s page says its 5 mg GBBGO “drives the sweat you can feel”. A warm, sweaty feeling is a sensation, not a measurement of fat lost. None of the three trials read here measured sweating, and the trial of the label’s MitoBurn and CaloriBurn doses found no significant change in fat mass.

Has anyone tried Alpha Lion?

In trials read here, people tried the ingredients, not the product. The 56-day trial gave 37 overweight and obese adults placebo, MitoBurn or CaloriBurn. No trial this desk read gave anyone a scoop of SuperHuman Burn. Forum and retail reviews report single experiences that cannot separate a supplement from the diet beside it.
